I watched Harry Potter again with my cousin yesterday at some premiere event by Singpost. Buffet and everything. Even saw some celebrity there! I dont remember his name though. Anyway watching it second time has some advantages. Like, you notice some stuff in the background that you didnt notice the first time and all. And the please Dumbledore said at the end? Not begging Snape to spare him, but to kill him instead. Yup yup you'd understand if you read Deathly Hallows, which Im halfway through right now.
Reading and even watching Harry Potter gives me some sense of I dont know how to explain. But seeing the familiar Warner Brothers sign at the start of every movie, and chapter titles in the book just tugs at my heartstrings. I remember the first Harry Potter was bought for me by my uncle. That time we didnt know it was a series, so we bought one book each, me and 2 other cousins. I happened to get Sorcerer's Stone and every HP craze started from there. I was what, primary 1? Ha.
How long ago that is.
