Movie marathon on New Year's Eve eh? Oh well, it doesnt feel as exciting as last yr's new year eve. Dont know why, but it feels as though it's just another day.

OH WELL.

Have a merry Christmas everyone! :D

Ohmygee, I'm damn tired.
Yawn. Slept so late.. this morning. I was awake long enough to see the sunrise & then conked out liao ( w/ a super bad sore throat that hurts like shit!). Woke up at (gasp) 10am+, cos my brother had to be an idiot & purposely come into the room to make noise & cut open a present my dad recieved. Hell to him man, for cutting my sleep short ( dreamless slp!). ):
Anyway, lounged arnd for a while & then guests began to arrive. First to arrive was my lovelaye cousin w/ his even more lovelaye PSP & Ridge Racer 2!! Lala. & that was the cause of it all, of why I didnt entertain my friends. Sore throat
& flu is just an inch behind that on my list of "Why I left my friends to their own devices". Oh well.

I think this year's cake tastes much better than the past years.
Past years > Mocha Almond Fudge + somethingsomething Mint (green color one!).
This year > Chocolate Peanut Buttercup + Macadamia Nut.
Yum. Its rather sweet, I admit. But its nice. :D
My neighbours went: Uncle Richard ( my dad), what flavour is it?
Dad: I dont know.. Xiao Xuan! What flavour is the cake? ( I was standing beside him talking to my cousin.)
Me: Chocolate peanut buttercup and macadamia nut.
My neighbr: Its very nice.
Me: Thank you. :D ( turns to dad) Told you so. :D
Ah well. :D Lovelaye.

But my toe hurts like shit. ): I think I broke/sprained it or something. Ouch, cant move up/down. Ow ow ow. ):

Its 0022.
There's still many people at my hse, lala. One of the many reasons why I love parties: Stay up late & use computer late! If this was on a normal day, my dad would have yelled at me for being on the computer. :D But it just aint a normal day. & the presents under the christmas tree (birthday ones.) havent open yet. Later later, & I can open the red packets too! Yay.

Speaking of red packets... I passed the red packet my aunt gave me to my 1 yr old cousin ( more like my father's cousin's daughter), Andrea, & she let me carry her! Lol. She didnt even care when her mother walked towards the door, saying byebye & even carrying her bag to go off, haha. SO CUTE LAR SHE. Chubby chubby one. :D Her eyes are big & cute & full of innocence, and one of her eyebrows go up when she laughs, damn cute. Haha. Her laughter also super cute. :D Ah well. Maybe next time can see them at parkway. They live near there. Lalala, super cute I tell you.

Gosh I love this song.
{ One Way or Another - Jesse McCartney}
Over here in California the sun maybe shining,
Back in New York there's frost on the ground.
Can you feel that Christmas is coming,
so much snow is falling all arnd.
In Chicago the wind is blowing,
Honolulu the waves are washing ashore.
In Miami the temperature is stagnant,
but in Boston rain may be starting to fall.

HELLOOOOO. :D

Im super dupr lazy to blog abt last night! It was super fun, lol. For pictures, go to Amirul's blog (devil-morgue.blogspot.com) to view. :D Thanks to the whole drama gang for the present! I'll be sure to read it again when I get the time to, haha.
YOU PEOPLE ROCK! :D
We shld go blading again sometime! (LOL, AMIRUL.)

Having a belated birthday party cum christmas party today, lol.

Replies!
Abby: Most of the food is nice there! All those small shops along the street are surprisingly, rather NICE. :D One piece of advice - When you go up to The Peak, DONT TAKE THE BUS. Sure, people might tell you that the view's nicer and all, but then all it serves is to give you a horrible headache & dizziness frm the shaking of the bus. If cannot cannot must sit bus, then at least sit downstairs, though the view ( if you dont die frm the crazy rocking of the bus.) is not that good as sitting upstairs. Oh oh, there's a Chinese restaurant at the Peak which's nice, one of the top floors, though its kinda ex, but the service's good! The waitress was supr nice to us, plus she speaks English too, lol. But basically, the whole HK the food nice la, lol.
Him: I changed it since hmm, a few days ago? Lol. Tormenting your blading, pffft, Im just helping you to urm, avoid trouble better. Practice makes perfect rmbr? Hahaha. Dwayne your head ah, lol. Full of nonsene. Lets go blading again! You pro already lar, skate so fast -.-
jing: Right.. Look whose talking, you old fogey. -.-

ICE SKATING. :D

It was damn fun.
FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN.
Gone there w/ Veronica, Selena, Jasmine, Jayne, Julian&Colin ( Jasmine's China grp friends). Veron is damn cute, I swear. She's joined the ranks of Cheryl Koh. Haha. She goes: "Will I die?" & kept asking. Lol.
It was great to have the whole day of skating! Lalala. For some reason, it was full day skate & free skates (lucky people, ha.)! Thus Veron, Sele, Jasmine & I stayed for like, 5 hrs there. Jayne, Julian&Colin left halfway to catch a movie @ Orchard.
So it was all, zoom zoom zoom. :D Lovelaye!
Plus there was speed skating, haha.
More abt it go Veron's blog (veryfirstday-.blogspot.com)!

{ Time held its breath, so I could see says:
Selena would like to tell Xuan that she's a very veryvery very very pro ice skater. }
AW.
{ Time held its breath, so I could see says:
When you were with the hockey boots people in the rink
Time held its breath, so I could see says:
Me and Jasmine and Veron went WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Time held its breath, so I could see says:
With that long long long long hair of yours flying all over the place somemore add effect sia }
I'm amused, lol.

Then I went off, cos I had to get to Plaza Singapura by 6.30pm for the movie thingy my dad office have. ( Thanks Veron, Sele, & Jas for lending me money to cab!) Charlotte's Web! Its quite nice lor, they kept very close to the book too. & Wilbur is damn cute, haha. Dakota Fanning (Fern) also! Super cute, haha.

Noooo, I dont want school to come. ): I'm having too much fun.
Let's go skating again! (:

I had the most fun w/ puddles today at orchard road. (: Let me elaborate further.

Met Sihui at Orchard there today, where we got caught by a guy who was advertising for a place called Create Talents Pte Ltd (www.createtalents.com). And then we went off, through the rain & through this christmas walk thingy, lol, which was actually just a walk through thing which was nth at all, except the drinking water which amused me, to Taka. That was where I introduced Sihui to the oh-so-wonderful Crystal Jade! Haha. She hadnt been there before so of cos, I had to show her right, since she wanted to know abt the nice food. :D So ate & paid, and then we, being mad, took off on a stroll down Orchard Road, armed w/ umbrellas, just to see the nice lights. So the rain was on & off, sometimes drizzle, sometimes pouring. It thus created puddles on the ground, which I must admit, I had fun walking through them and splashing some unto the poor unsupecting Sihui.
Mwahaha, am I evil or what. >:D

Then we walked one rnd of the whole place, and then walked back to Somerset MRT, spotting one of the deepest and biggest puddles we've ever seen, & thus crowned it the winner of the puddles, lol. Were we mad or what. (:

I feel pity for the woman who slipped outside Taka and fell on her butt. -wince- that must have hurt.

Pictures are up on Sihui's blog! ( dunthinktoomuch.blogspot.com)

Btw, Happy birthday Chee Yang!

Hellooooo. (:

Went to Vivocity today w/ Jasmine & Cheryl to watch Nightmare Before Christmas 3D. It was okay lar, just a lot of songs. Anyway. The cinema at Vivo is niceeeeeee. So big okay! So I told Cheryl: "Nxt year, we watch Gold Class here at Vivo on your birthday again okay?" We did that, last yr i think. At Great World City for Constantine. Brilliant show. (: 25 bucks one ticket though. The seat reclines, nice chair, got table etc. Like that lor. But oh well, it was nice. The feeling of it was nice too, lol, once you've forgotten abt the price.
But yeah, ha. Thats that, isnt it.

I shall watch finish Dr Dolittle 3 later. :D Its rly funny.

How can I describe this place? It's an in-between place. It's like a grand hallway that leads you nowhere, it's like a banquet dinner of left-overs, a sports team made up of people never picked, a mother without her child, it's a body without it's heart. It's almost there but not quite. It's filled to the brim with personal items yet it's empty because the people who own them aren't here to love them.

Have anyone seen the Cathay Residences that is situated just upstairs ( 7th to 15th) floor of The Cathay? Its darn cool. Lol. You just have to take a lift down to watch movies, shop etc. Selena & I fell in love w/ it, and tada, grandiose notions. Haha.

Imaginary friend, invisible friend - call us what you like. Maybe you believe in us, maybe you don't. The point is, it's not important. Like most people who do truly great work, we don't exist to be talked about and praised; we exist only to serve the needs of those who needs us. Maybe we don't exist at all; maybe we're just a figment of people's imaginations; maybe it's just pure concidence that children of two, who can barely speak, all decide to start making friends with people only adults can't see. Maybe all those doctors and psychotherapists are right to suggest that they are merely developing their imagination.
Or humour me for a second. Is there possibly another explanation that you haven't thought about for the entirety of my story?
The possibility that we do exist. That we're here to help and assist those who needs us, who believe in believing and can therefore see us.
I always look on the positive side of things. I always say that with every cloud there's a silver lining but, the truth be told - and I'm a firm believer of the truth - for a while I was struggling with my experience with Elizabeth. I couldn't figure out what I had won, all I could see was that my losing her was one big black stormy cloud. But then I realised that, as every day went by and I thought about her every second and smiled, I knew that meeting her, knowing her and above all loving her, was the biggest silver lining of all.
She was better than pizza, better than olives, better than Fridays and better than spinning and even these days when she is no longer with us - and I'm not supposed to say this - of all my friends, Elizabeth Egan was by far my favourite.

THE ILLUSIONIST.

Eisenheim (Edward Norton) is a stage magician who amazes the audiences of turn-of-the-century Vienna, drawing the attention of Crown Prince Leopold (Rufus Sewell). When the Prince's intended, Sophie von Teschen (Jessica Biel), assists the magician onstage, Eisenheim and Sophie recognize each other from their childhoods -- and a dormant love affair is rekindled. As the clandestine romance continues, Chief Inspector Uhl (Paul Giamatti) is charged by Leopold to expose Eisenheim, and Eisenheim prepares to execute his greatest illusion yet.

Its an exciting show! Lol.

2 more days til I'm outta SG! Into a colder place, yay.

"Pray tell, why oh why would I want to be like you?"

You seem to find the dark when everything is bright
You look for all that's wrong instead of all that's right
Does it feel good to you to rain on my parade
You never say a word unless it's to complain
It's driving me insane

If I were you
Holding the world right in my hands
The first thing I'd do
Is thank the stars for all that I have
If I were you

Look at what's around you now
More than you ever dreamed
Have you forgotten how just hard it used to be?
So what's it going to take for you to realize
That all could go away in one blink of an eye
It happens all the time

If I were you
Holding the world right in my hands
The first thing I'd do
Is thank the stars above
Tell the world I love that I do

Yeah if I were you
Yeah if I were you
If I were you
If I were you

So what's it going to take for you to realize
It all could go away in one blink of an eye
It happens all the time

If I were you
Holding the world right in my hands
The first thing I'd do
Is thank the stars above
For the world I love
Take a breath and enjoy the view
Live the life that I wanna do
If I were you
If I were you
If I were you

I hate to say this but CS's right, if I had the chance, I wld do 50th w/ the same old people all over again. :D

Have a pleasant day (like I did, despite the killer heels). ((:

Do you remember me
I sat upon your knee
I wrote to you with childhood fantasies
Well I'm all grown up now
And still need help somehow
I'm not a child but my heart still can dream

So here's my lifelong wish
My grown up Christmas list
Not for myself but for a world in need
No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
And everyone would have a friend
And right would always win
And love would never end, no
This is my grown up Christmas list

As children we believe
The grandest sight to see
Was something lovely wrapped beneath the tree
But Heaven only knows
That packages and bows
Can never heal a hurting human soul

No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
And everyone would have a friend
And right would always win
And love would never end, no
This is my grown up Christmas list

What is this illusion called the innocence of youth
Maybe only in our blind belief can we ever find the truth

No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
And everyone would have a friend
And right would always win
And love would never end, no
This is my grown up Christmas list
This is my only lifelong wish
This is my grown up Christmas list
