In true christmas spirit, the Mini Melts machine ytd at Junction 8 was dropping free cups of the ice cream. Yumm. :D

Ohmygee, I'm damn tired.
Yawn. Slept so late.. this morning. I was awake long enough to see the sunrise & then conked out liao ( w/ a super bad sore throat that hurts like shit!). Woke up at (gasp) 10am+, cos my brother had to be an idiot & purposely come into the room to make noise & cut open a present my dad recieved. Hell to him man, for cutting my sleep short ( dreamless slp!). ):
Anyway, lounged arnd for a while & then guests began to arrive. First to arrive was my lovelaye cousin w/ his even more lovelaye PSP & Ridge Racer 2!! Lala. & that was the cause of it all, of why I didnt entertain my friends. Sore throat
& flu is just an inch behind that on my list of "Why I left my friends to their own devices". Oh well.

I think this year's cake tastes much better than the past years.
Past years > Mocha Almond Fudge + somethingsomething Mint (green color one!).
This year > Chocolate Peanut Buttercup + Macadamia Nut.
Yum. Its rather sweet, I admit. But its nice. :D

There's still many people at my hse, lala. One of the many reasons why I love parties: Stay up late & use computer late! If this was on a normal day, my dad would have yelled at me for being on the computer. :D But it just aint a normal day. & the presents under the christmas tree (birthday ones.) havent open yet. Later later, & I can open the red packets too! Yay.

Speaking of red packets... I passed the red packet my aunt gave me to my 1 yr old cousin ( more like my father's cousin's daughter), Andrea, & she let me carry her! Lol. She didnt even care when her mother walked towards the door, saying byebye & even carrying her bag to go off, haha. SO CUTE LAR SHE. Chubby chubby one. :D Her eyes are big & cute & full of innocence, and one of her eyebrows go up when she laughs, damn cute. Haha. Her laughter also super cute. :D Ah well. Maybe next time can see them at parkway. They live near there. Lalala, super cute I tell you.

Having a belated birthday party cum christmas party today, lol.

Abby: Most of the food is nice there! All those small shops along the street are surprisingly, rather NICE. :D One piece of advice - When you go up to The Peak, DONT TAKE THE BUS. Sure, people might tell you that the view's nicer and all, but then all it serves is to give you a horrible headache & dizziness frm the shaking of the bus. If cannot cannot must sit bus, then at least sit downstairs, though the view ( if you dont die frm the crazy rocking of the bus.) is not that good as sitting upstairs. Oh oh, there's a Chinese restaurant at the Peak which's nice, one of the top floors, though its kinda ex, but the service's good! The waitress was supr nice to us, plus she speaks English too, lol. But basically, the whole HK the food nice la, lol.

It was great to have the whole day of skating! Lalala. For some reason, it was full day skate & free skates (lucky people, ha.)! Thus Veron, Sele, Jasmine & I stayed for like, 5 hrs there. Jayne, Julian&Colin left halfway to catch a movie @ Orchard.
So it was all, zoom zoom zoom. :D Lovelaye!

I had the most fun w/ puddles today at orchard road. (: Let me elaborate further.

Met Sihui at Orchard there today, where we got caught by a guy who was advertising for a place called Create Talents Pte Ltd (www.createtalents.com). And then we went off, through the rain & through this christmas walk thingy, lol, which was actually just a walk through thing which was nth at all, except the drinking water which amused me, to Taka. That was where I introduced Sihui to the oh-so-wonderful Crystal Jade! Haha. She hadnt been there before so of cos, I had to show her right, since she wanted to know abt the nice food. :D So ate & paid, and then we, being mad, took off on a stroll down Orchard Road, armed w/ umbrellas, just to see the nice lights. So the rain was on & off, sometimes drizzle, sometimes pouring. It thus created puddles on the ground, which I must admit, I had fun walking through them and splashing some unto the poor unsupecting Sihui.
Mwahaha, am I evil or what. >:D

Then we walked one rnd of the whole place, and then walked back to Somerset MRT, spotting one of the deepest and biggest puddles we've ever seen, & thus crowned it the winner of the puddles, lol. Were we mad or what. (:

I feel pity for the woman who slipped outside Taka and fell on her butt. -wince- that must have hurt.

Went to Vivocity today w/ Jasmine & Cheryl to watch Nightmare Before Christmas 3D. It was okay lar, just a lot of songs. Anyway. The cinema at Vivo is niceeeeeee. So big okay! So I told Cheryl: "Nxt year, we watch Gold Class here at Vivo on your birthday again okay?" We did that, last yr i think. At Great World City for Constantine. Brilliant show. (: 25 bucks one ticket though. The seat reclines, nice chair, got table etc. Like that lor. But oh well, it was nice. The feeling of it was nice too, lol, once you've forgotten abt the price.
But yeah, ha. Thats that, isnt it.

I shall watch finish Dr Dolittle 3 later. :D Its rly funny.






How can I describe this place? It's an in-between place. It's like a grand hallway that leads you nowhere, it's like a banquet dinner of left-overs, a sports team made up of people never picked, a mother without her child, it's a body without it's heart. WELL. Watched The Holiday w/ Selena today! The show was long, but nonetheless, NICE. :D Home exchange is darn cool. New experience, wheee, I wonder how it would be like doing it myself. Haha. Selena & I were talking about it. Super cool.
Have anyone seen the Cathay Residences that is situated just upstairs ( 7th to 15th) floor of The Cathay? Its darn cool. Lol. You just have to take a lift down to watch movies, shop etc. Selena & I fell in love w/ it, and tada, grandiose notions. Haha.
We walked arnd for a while & added more stuff to our shopping list, lol. NICE STUFF. :D

After that met Sue Ann, Aiyan, Julia, Tenghui, Yong Quan & Terence Tay @ Suntec! Sooooo, we walked arnd for a while, played the Xbox at Toys R Us and home sweet home! (: Thanks for the presents! They made me go 'oooooh' ( Haha, Selena!) when I opened them. Thank you thank you!! I couldn't figure out what I had won, all I could see was that my losing her was one big black stormy cloud. But then I realised that, as every day went by and I thought about her every second and smiled, I knew that meeting her, knowing her and above all loving her, was the biggest silver lining of all.

It rained today in the afternoon, so much for our plans for blading. Went PS for a short while before home again (Sele came my hse before gg.). Yup.
Gonna blade tmr morning before 50th I guess. I doubt it'll rain so early in the morning. Not so unlucky I hope!!

The Greatest Game Ever Played. :D Super duper brilliant show. Exciting!! Lol. It tells of the game of golf which was originally played by "gentlemen" only. Aka, those rich people. Then there's this guy (Harry Vardon), a boy born into a working class, who started playing and won the golf Opens. His own house was being bulldozed to built a golf course. He got famous and all lar. Then somewhere in the future, when Harry was older, abt 20 or so, there was another boy (Francis Ouinet), working class one, who was a caddie at a golf course. Then he learnt the game & all. Then he was asked to play in the US Open and the show shows the way he play etc etc, and more importantly: How he went after his dreams despite obstacles & people degrading him. :D Like his dad, who didnt even want him to play in the first place, cos it couldnt help him earn a living but anyway, still supported him in the end.

So my family ( minus my mother, who was out w/ friends) took a drove down the brightly lit Orchard Road last night ( and they first had to tear me away frm my PSP racing game which I was leading, whee.) Anyway, after the show we went to walk arnd! Lol. The Christmas decorations are really pretty! :D There were purple spheres hanging frm the ceiling in the atrium. Beautiful & dreamy, I tell you! Love it. (: So much better than Cathay's "Pink Christmas". Yuck. So much pinkkk, gosh. Pink looks horrible on a Christmas tree too, lol. So unnatural. -.-

Juror Number 6 smiled.
'The State's psychologist did not talk at length to Jamie about the person he loved most in this world, more than himself. He did not talk to Jamie about her illness, about her chances for recovery, about the strain that the absence of hope had placed on them. And he still thinks he can offer an expert opinion.'
Graham crossed to the jury. 'We know that when a bone is placed under too much strain, it will break. So will the mind. You have heard testimony that at the time of his wife's death, Jamie was not able to think clearly, to consider a statement she'd made and to judge it rationally.
'You've heard proof that at his wife's funeral, Jamie was overwhelmed with grief. Is this the way a murderer would act? You've heard how Maggie and Jamie spent their last days alone. Would a man callous enough to plan a murder take his wife to watch the sunrise in the Bershires, make love to her repeatedly, take her out to dinner and dancing? You've heard proof from Maggie's bestfriend that Maggie was going to ask Jamie to kill her, and this woman, Maggie's best friend, does not harbour any grudge against Jamie. Even the police chief who arrested him admitted that Jamie's case could not be considered plainly in black or white.'
Graham scanned the faces of the jury. They weren't giving anything away. 'You know,' he said softly, 'I understand that makes you nervous. Its unsettling to hear about a man who loved his wife so that he's capable of doing this. It makes us all feel a little guilty, because we wouldn't go to such an extreme. Admitting that Jamie had the courage to do such a thing also forces us to admit that we wouldn't. That we don't have the same kind of strength, or the same depth of emotion for our husbands and wives and lovers.
'It's very strange to talk about love at a trial like this. More often, you hear about hate. Hate drove him to take out a rifle and gun down all the people on the Long Island Railroad. Hate drove him to set a bomb in a London pub. It's clearly believeable to us that hate can spur a person to action. Why not love?
'After all, if hate can steal our sanity, so can love. Love can rob a person of his power of reason. We've heard it all before. Oh what can you expect from him, he's in love. Or, Love is blind. Or Love conquers all. Think of the strength we attribute to love in our cliches. Is there any doubt that we're vulnerable to it?'
Graham walked back to his client, so that when the jury followed him with their eyes they'd see Jamie as well. 'If I had a way to enter love into the evidence like the arrest report, I would have. But that isn't an option. What I ask you to keep in mind is this: Jamie is a big man. Sic foot four, and in good physical condition. He's strong. But he couldn't defend himself against love. It worked its way past his judegement, past what he'd been brought up to consider right and wrong, through the heavy burden of stress he'd been suffering with for months. If Jamie commited a crime, it was that he loved his wife too much. But is that something for which he should be punished?'
Graham sat down. It was 9:52.

One can learn many things when going out blading w/ Goh Chang Sheng. LOL.

1. He blades funny. ( Like duck!)
2. He curses me everytime he falls because

4. if I say fall, he'll fall. :D
5. He goes 'oh shit' when he's about to fall so when he goes oh shit, turn to look at him, lol!
6. He goes from low to high pitch in 'I think I'm gonna falllllllll!'
7. He flails his arms about when blading. Haha!
8. He cant go over humps fast or else he'll walk sideways over it and
9. for him, its possible to get stuck on one. LOL.
10. He blades okay when we dont stare at him
11. and when we do he'll fall eventually. ( Proven! Lol!)
12. He stomps the ground when he blades ( & always nearly loose his balance.)
13. He blames the blades for his lousy performance and
14. gives the excuse that it's just a warm up. ( LOL!)

Its just so amusing lar! Selena was laughing so hard that she couldn't move. Lol! Super funny!! :D I havent laughed so much in like, a looong time. Hahaha.
After waiting for Selena to eat finish her breakfast @ Macs ( yes, you eat more!), headed to PP. Went MPH & then ate at KFC. Yup. & yeahh, went home under the scorching sun. Gee. Why cant it rain. I like the rain, lol.

Soooooo. I went to the hospital today cos erm, my dad just had an operation for some stone thingy in his bladder cos of too much calcium or something like that. Yup. Ended up watching tv there. :D Haha. Ate at Paragon for dinner, & then went back to see him (@Mount E). Yep. My brother wanted to rush home cos he said that he was scared that there would be ghosts in the hospital at night. LOL. Amusing yeah.

Going blading early tmr w/ Selena & CS. lol. That guy arh, trying to escape from a BET. Tsk.

Thursday going on a DATE w/ my dear Selena. :D Whole day one somemore! Haha. At evening we'll probably go see the lights at Orchard. Super beautiful i tell you. :D must see must see. Its a magical feeling k. ((((:

(wednesday nothing much lar, so nvm!)
thurday; 9 november
3C class outing! cycling. :D so fun okay. we cycled all the way frm macs to safra, the highway there. we turned back when we nearly reached the main road cos it was going to rain, and there were load of cars. so we cycled super fast back to macs to beat the rain. and yeahhhh, we managed to escape it lar. but we still got a little wet at first, but we got in front of it and well, beat it! yay. haha. then we went to eat at macs & then went to bowl. at least, some of us went to bowl. jasmine, jingmei, sihui & i went to the arcade to playyyyyy. & thankyou to those 3 for paying! :D cos i was broke le. haha. anwww. played there la. then sihui & i went down cos she were out of coins le. waited for the rest to finish up before gg back up to the arcade. lol, we played the dance dance thingy, so amusing. we played hard, one person take one step, so funnnyyy! lol. then yeah, went home arnd 6+pm. :D fun day. but tiring! my legs ached like shit okay. but then again, come to think of it, it was worth it. yeah! :D

friday; 7 november; today
woke up abt 8+ like that cos of my brother! he came back frm australia today, and then immediately went to wake me up to show me the gifts. geez. tinkered w/ the piano ( canon in d!) for a while before going to meet selena at ps. ate lunch there w/ her & then headed to vivo just to find out that step up was selling fast! then we went back to ps there & decided to catch the 3.30pm show at the cathay. so we had sooo much time to kill so walked arnd, fell in love w/ 2 shops and then finally for the show. haha.
i tell you arh. Step Up is super duper nice! it is it is! lol. worth watching! hahaha. then after the show we went out to realise that its raining cats & dogs, thank goodness selena rmbred that she brought an umbrella so, yeah, we were kinda 'saved'. haha, made our way back to ps in the rain w/ puddles, where we splashed around, cos we were walking fast, and laughed so much, cos it was super fun & amusing to walk arnd in the rain, trying not to get wet. hahaha. :D reached ps and then walked arnd to dry off before gg home! yup yup. :D my day!

Mr Tchen is greatttttttt. Instead of a Physics make up lesson today after school ( it was supposed to be one), it turned out to be a partyyy. :D W/ about 9 boxes of pizzas, all paid & accounted for by one Mr Tchen Beng Huat! Headed to Parkway after w/ Selena. Then just ate, walked around for a while, the usual, I guess. Parkway's seriously getting boring I tell you. Nothing to do at all there! So much for their attempts to make parkway an exciting place. Other than adding the few shops at one corner of the place ( where hardly anyone goes), yeah, thats alllll. Oh well, at least they made an effort. (:
